A new and innovative approach for HIV/AIDS education based on the e-learning solution

E-learning is a training technique which uses all available electronic media, including Internet. E-learning is commonly associated with teaching where it is the computer that passes down the knowledge and examines the results and hence this form of learning is commonly referred to as "distance learning".Superiority of e-learning over other methods is based on focusing the attention on the learner and not the teacher.

E-learning also enables us to choose not only the range of preferred knowledge but also decides about the rate of learning individually. Recent two years have shown that many companies, institutions and schools, including higher schools, besides traditional learning more and more often introduce e-learning.

Proposed by Partners E-Aids, the course is an innovative professional training intended for teachers, health service, social workers and everyone who is engaged in HIV/AIDS problem by virtue of a fulfilled function. Across Europe, the e-learning method is innovative one as far as HIV/AIDS courses and trainings are concerned.

E-AIDS web platform, an integrated solution for HIV/AIDS education: web based information, online learning and training

The Educational platform e-aids.ro has been designed in a way that maximally improves and facilitates the process of designing the courses; it enables the user to manage the process of learning individually via the Internet.

Introduced by partners` teams, the platform can be characterized as being user-friendly for administrators, trainers and course participants. E-aids.ro platform contains a rich set of tools which enables people without special computer knowledge to design and access interactive courses, tests and electronic publications in a fast, easy and intuitive manner.
