The project “An e-learning environment for HIV/AIDS education” develops an integrated solution for adult education on the prevention of HIV/AIDS (that according to the latest statistics available, produced by the EU-supported “Euro HIV” network, in 2005 had 23.620 new diagnosed cases of infection only in the European Union).

So the proposed action aims to strengthen the education and training on HIV/AIDS prevention through an e-learning integrated environment by using innovative pedagogical approaches and new online learning and training methodologies.
